The MM651's are coaxial speakers which means the tweeter is mounted to a post in the center of the woofer and are what most, including myself are using. The MM6501's are component speakers which means the woofer and tweeter are separate so you would have to modify the grill or find a place to mount the tweeters. Both models come with crossovers. Another thing to consider is if you listen to FM much, the SS amp could affect reception. You will also need a 10awg amp install kit and you should be good too go. By the way, in the future it would help if you just start a new thread as your question has nothing to do with this thread.

How does the SS affect FM reception? And is there anything that can be done about it?
SS as well as other Class D amps emit EMI signal which interferes with FM reception. John @ J&M claims to have the only Class D amp that I'm aware of that doesn't. Just the nature of the beast with switching amplifiers.
If FM is an issue for you, SS is not the amp for you.
You might want to look at the Rockford Fosgate PBR series amps as they are not class D and do not cause FM interference. The 2ch is 150w per channel and is stable to 2ohms. The 4ch is 75w per channel but is only stable to 4ohms so you would not be able to run the Polk's with it.
