I have a 2009 Ultra Classic with a stock radio and the radio will cut out going down the highway. Not when I hit a bump, just riding and then no radio. I click the radio switch back and forth and the radio comes back on. I am thinking maybe a wire wore through and when it touches it cuts off? But if that was the case, the radio would not come back on after messing with the switch? Is the radio switch going bad?

Highly unlikely it's a switch issue.
While rocking the switch, does the icon on the faceplate change?
If it does, most likely the radio
Does the speaker icon on the radio appear when the radio cuts out?
If it does, it can be a switch or harness, call us if that's the case and we'll walk you through a couple of things.
It is acting like vibration damage. More common on the 06-08 because of the bad brackets, but the 09 is susceptible to the riser bolt issue.
If you need more info, feel free to give us a call

The answer is no to your two questions...... PM sent
I just sent had the exact same problem, sent it to iron cross and it's good as new. I was hoping it was the switch but it was the radio. They had pretty quick turn around time also.
A few months back I experienced that same issue and then finally lost audio completely. The radio was replaced under warranty. Was told the vibration damaged one of the circuit boards??
