I have been looking, but have not been able to find the info. Does anyone know how many total amps the Boom Audio amp has available. When this is connected to the SGS with 2 speakers is the total divided by 2, and if you add additional speakers (lower speaker) is it divided by 4. Thanks

There is little info that Harley shares about the BOOM upgrade AMP, Yes you can drive four speakers with this unit if you decide to install the lowers on your bike. I decided not to use the BOOM equipment and with the help and understanding from several on this post (bf2002flht), and having built systems on other bikes as well, I have a truly awesome system. If I were you I would start at the beginning of this post and you will quickly realize BOOM Upgrade is not the way to go. IMHO

Good question theres really not enough info in the instructions or on the HD website to answer that.
Couple of questions for those that used the Polk 6.5 speakers, did you use the regular ones or the marine? And you like the quality?
The focal speakers that a few of you liked those are the ones that retail at around $675 dollars? Ouch!
If I am looking to boost quality and volume would the Arc 125 and the Polks be a good combo for my SGS? Also with a price tag of around $500 its a better buy then the Biketronics kit with speakers and amp $650 and the JM which is around $1,000.
Any other recommendations welcome
The arc is a good choice with the polks. Most of us did not use the marine version. Just the regular MM651's. I'm done with the polks at this point as I had problems with mine. Any upgrade is going to sound better than stock. You could also mix and match and do the biketronics titans with the arc amp if you wanted and save a little $$$. Keep in mind both the polks and the titans will need to be modified slightly to fit in the new bikes. The screw mounting holes will need to be counter sunk and longer screws will be needed. Without this step the speakers will not sit flush and can stress the mounts for the speaker pod in the fairing and end up cracking down the road. As for cycle sounds, if those pucks were any good you'd be reading about them on here. They're a gimmick. I'd stay away.
After looking at the cone on the stock speakers, which is very small compared to a true 6.5 speaker, do you think just upgrading to another 6.5 2 ohm speaker would work with the DSP? Im looking at these http://cdtstore.com/2ohm/hd6ex2.htm
I went and looked again and didn't see when I looked yesterday that the Biketronics Titans bundled with the amp is $550 and not $650, for the $50 difference (over the polks and the ARC), sounds like that's the better way to go. Unless someone chimes in otherwise, I will place my order later tonight.
I have to pull fairing for Sirius and hidden antenna install and am also shopping a windshield and have the 3 pouch bags, figure might as well tear it apart once and get it all done at the same time.

ebay, this is where I acquired my speakers and made them an offer of 450.00, they countered with 465.00 not bad for an awesome set of Focal's..
