This thread was going strong for awhile and now kinda petered out, still looking for some more ideas and system setups especially on the 4 speaker Ultras. Looking at the PBR 300/2 with 4 infinity kappa 62.11i,just not sure about rear pods,if they'll fit even with a spacer.Any answers, ideas? Who's the 14 Audio Guru?
I won't claim to be the "guru" but I can probably answer most if not all your questions. The Pbr 2 channel is a strong amp but those infinity Kappas won't fit in the rear pods unless they're shallow mount. From a quick peek at the specs on the web they won't fit. You need a shallow mount 6 3/4. The kicker CS67 for instance. (What I'm running). As for amps I'm running a biketronics 4 channel. Pricey but the best out there for the application IMHO. The lifetime warranty and incredible customer service make it well worth it.

I see your running the Titans, were they a PITA to get in,also would those same kickers work up front? Guess what I,m asking would four of those kickers work good with the PBR 300/2.Thanks
Biketronics BT2180 amp & Titan II speakers installed, damn I'm impressed, this thing rocks. Thanks to all the post, good reads and helped me make a great upgrade.

The kickers will absolutely work up front. The Titans weren't a PITA Perse'. The PITA is the speaker pods. The titans do require slight modification to fit; nothing serious. The screw holes in the speaker mounting ring just need to be drilled out with a countersink bit and flat head screws need to used. Biketronics will do this for you if you ask. I can tell you that the kickers sound great in my set up but if you're going with 4 speakers you're not going to get everything you can out of them with only the 2 channel PBR. You could double up on the PBRs or get a 4 channel. (Not the 4 channel PBR) Don't get me wrong the result using just the two channel will be much better than stock, but you'll be leaving some performance untapped.
Plus one for the Biketronic Titans and and amp. Fantastic stuff!!

Biketronics hasn't got a handle on this yet? I talked to Jim I believe it was a couple weeks ago and they were working crazy trying to get it set up,Would really like to only spend money once. Still freezing asses off here so I can hold out a little longer
Correct me if I'm wrong but it's just the bigger 7 inchers they are working to fix the bracing on right? I believe they said in the 2014's the speaker mounts are part of the fairing bracing and they are working feverishly to find a way to mount the bt71's without altering it. They are not comfortable with the way other companies are instructing people to alter them because it changes the structural integrity of the fairing bracing itself. The regular titan II's 6.5 fit fine except for drilling of the screw mounting hole which they will do for you. And they sound amazing. If I'm wrong on bt71 mounting thing please let me know.

No you're 100% correct. The 7.1s won't fit at all. They're too large to fit within the pods which as stated serve as fairing supports. I have had extended conversations with bill at biketronics and they're working on coming up with brackets that will completely replace the stock speaker pods and will allow you to mount almost any aftermarket speaker, including 6x9s.
I didn't know they were trying to come up with a mount anything solution. That is KILLER!!! Those guys are the best and 6x9's in the front would solve that lack of bass problem some people are having. With those in the upper fairing and my lower fairings with the biggest Biketronic that will fit I might not even bother with rear speakers. I can't wait! Thanks for the info... Monty

Just got my 20014 Street Glide. Does anyone know if they will fit. I know you have to get the Boom Audio Grills because of the tweeters. Just worried about the mounting. Heres a pic of the speaker.
