And this is what I don't understand. Same flash but very few gets the same results ..something always different.I have been told that the D.T.machine they use to flash the bikes could have different software at each dealership. Not all updated at the same time from mothership. .and this could cause different results. .we all struggle while harley sits on their *** raking in big money for a cheap radio setup to start with. .face it.if they would have put in a jamming system we wouldn't be hear..or maybe if I had better hearing. .just sick of it
exactly why I stopped f-ing with 14/15 models. There is no rhyme or reason to why the same files/flashes/settings/components work for some but not for others.
When HD gets their heads out of their a$$es and gets these issues taken care of then I'll start doing 14/15 models again. Until then, I sit patiently waiting for FF and Matazu to release their double-din inner fairings and be rid of this mess once and for all.
Alright guys... Has anyone heard from john on this issue.. I noticed a month ago he posted this, http://www.jmcorp.com/pdf/HarleyRadioFlashROKKER-PerformEXTREME--04-02-2015.pdf
Now Im curious on a couple things. I have the biggest system he has to offer with the rokker 500 watt amp and 6 speakers. I've had nothing but issues with it. Sounds like junk 90% of the time. He has a tune for the stock radio flash and now has one for the radio being flashed. His hype this whole time is his system is plug and play. so with that said, what advantages do we have doing his radio flash and then another update to his amp? I'm baffled why he has two setups and curious to which one is the correct way to do it. It's unlike him to offer options as how his amps comes you cannot change any settings on it.

2014 limited. .2 hawg wired amps and 4 hawg wired speakers..I had half of this on a 2012 street glide for 3 years and it kick ***.. that why I keep it.It had proven to be a great system very dependable..but with the new radio I'am kind of disappointed..But at least I know what to blame it on..
Several Questions with new AMP / Speaker in 2014 SG
Hello,
Based on the discussions here I changed in my 2014 SG with 4.3" Radio as follows :
- Rockford Fosgate PBR 300X2 AMP
- Cycle Sounds Magic Box
(Speaker upgrade to Inifinity 6.5" not done yet due to time)
My questions are as follows :
I not changed at HD dealer the DSP Line as Rockford Fosgate requested, because using CycleSounds Magic Box.
- Which setting at AMP I have to apply to be for the short term time happy using the stock speakers ?
- Remote Cable was necessary to use, because AMP not switched on by itself - does it is related to the Firmware of my Radio ? Some people wrote after making DSP Line adjustment at HD Dealer it was necessary to use Remote Cable
- How to seal the AMP to rain / wetness coming through the postbox or fairing gaps - any idea ? In Germany is most likely rainy as you know - I want to prevent in case of ...
Please give me your recommendation, that I become more happy with the sound for the time being.
... connector for setting the HU for example for the flash ?
Im asking because i want to make it quick at dealer, to prevent that so e plug behind the fairing has to be used, then i can place it at easy reachable position to reduce working time for them (e.g. remove fairring).
