I haven't tried the magic box either, but have had the stock unit flashed. Based on my personal experience, I wouldn't recommend to anyone at this point to try and add an aftermarket amp. More money and trouble than its worth. If I had it to do over again, I'd have left it stock. Especially for what I've spent. Considering going back to stock as it is until someone comes up with a double din aftermarket head unit that'll work.

I feel exactly the same. I have spent a ton of $$$$ and I'm no happier than I was before spending all of the money.

Man... I'm certainly in the opposite camp. Had the recommended flash done the other day, still waiting for my lids to get back from paint, front speakers alone are loud and crisp. Other than my install time, think spending around $500 to have a killer stereo is kind of worth it.

All I know is for under $350 my RF PBR300x2 and Infinity Speakers along with the magic box sounds awesome on my 14 SGS. I can run at 80 mph with volume at 1 notch above 1/2 way and sounds loud and clear. Sorry to hear that some people are having bad experiences with the same bike and setup as a lot of us are having good results with.

Default Hertz hcp4d AMP

I have been doing some searches looking for info on if this amp will fit under the fairing on the 2014 ultra limited? Does anyone have any experience in using this amp? Thanks
