How does this compare to getting the $250 BT speaker brackets?
Garrett
With the Arc Audio Moto 602s i think i liked them best with the vented pods. The Focal EC165K sounded better in the BT Brackets . All of the other speakers i have tried have only been in the BT Brackets only.

Im going to go with the Mille Pro 165.3, I wouldnt mind being able to save $250 but if it will make a noticeable difference I will get the brackets. Garrett

Couldn't tell you with those, never tried em. Worse come to worse try with the pods sealed up, then sealed with poly fil, then vented, then vented with polyfil, and if you liked it better sealed you can use some dynamat to cover the vent back up. You will probably notice that you will have to adjust the crossover point and very possibly the gain with each different setup. Take notes as you go just incase you want to revert back to one of the previous tries. Good luck and look forward tp how it turns out.

Now you’re just cutting into my riding time. They might be staying in stock pods once I get everything.
Hey man, it's below freezing with snow ice and salt all over the roads here, quit making me jealous you are still able to ride in the winter lol.
Not my fault you live where the state bird is the mosquito. I’m currently stuck on an island M-F so my weekends are precious to me. I’m taking Friday off this week just so I can go home tomorrow to install my bars and not miss any weekend riding time. I’m thinking jeans and Vans might finally not be enough for riding this weekend, but we will see.

Been dealing with this since 2014 and spent a lot of money on same because every time you get it right they change the eq with software update and all changes (sound wise) ..to much to go in to so I will give y'all the bottom line and the only real solution I have found to this radio crap. .JL audio fix 82 or 86..it's a tight fit in the fairing but it can be done..never sounded better. .makes the radio put out a flat signal to the amps so when harley change the eq again you just do a recalibration. Back to sounding great again . Just goggle it and your problems are over...
I have a question.. I am upgrading my system, had a cycle sounds amp and black box, all plug and play. I went to a Mmats amp, flashed the radio, everything on this system is now with rca plugs so not sure how to hook things up. Also, how do the speakers hook up? Before it went thru the black box. now no box. Where and how do I run the in and out on the speakers?
