So for all you guru's I could use some info, 2014 SGS with 6.5 infotainment and soundstream 4 channel amp in fairing. How would I use the magic box to run all 4 channels of the amp since the magic box only has 1 set of rca outputs? anyone out there use a magic box and a 4 channel amp? thanks

I have a 400x4 amp a magic box with the front speaker connectors. Ed from Cycle Sound told me to connect the magic box to the infotainment center front speaker leads and to connect that to RCAs with a splitter 1 into 2 conected to your amp and out to your front and rear speakers as long as you don't mind losing your fader control from front to back. For this set up no flash is required However if you want your fader you have to buy two magic boxes. One for the front and the other for the rear. And for this set up you must get your system fashed for a four speaker set up. I received my magic box today and if there is a new magic box with four RCA leads it is really brand-new and must have just come out in two days I just talk to Ed on Tuesday and received my magic box today.

you need both items at the bottom of this page. 1 is for front, the other for rear.

I already bought the magic box just waiting for my 62.11i's to arrive for install. On a Facebook bagger audio page a few installers are using a PAC SNI-35 converter and having good results. http://www.pac-audio.com/productDeta...&CategoryID=28 Just wondering how this compares to the magic box. I am still going to use the magic box since I already have it, it has worked well for other members here, and it has the factory speaker plugs installed which is real nice.

PAC SNI-35 is only a speaker wire to RCA converter, nothing more. The magic box is actually adjusting the DSP settings coming out of the head units to a flat level and also provides RCA connectors so it's essentially 2 devices in 1.

I can attest to that. I had the PAC converters on mine. They do nothing other than, like ultra said, covert to RCA.

you will need to run a remote wire from the amp ( i ran the wire from the amp and used a wire tap to tap into the cigarette lighter)
Thanks for the info. That sounds a lot easier then removing the tank and running the wires under the the tank to the battery. As far as hooking up the amp to the radio were there any special plug and play wires I will need? Or did you just use a standard amp wiring kit? Also what gauge wire did you use to tap into the cig lighter and use for the amp?

you're still going to need to run the battery + and - wires for the amp under the tank. The tank is easy to pull off.
