A full BT setup likely will be more that a J&M set up depending on configuration, but your getting FAR superior and powerful components and a lifetime warranty.

I went with the Hawg Wired 6 1/2" in the front, lowers and am going to put them in the rear speaker pods... I also am driving them with the Hawg Wired CS300 amps and have to say they SCREAM! For the money they are awesome!

They have an external cross-over which usually you only find in high end audio, plus they are made rugged for bikes. They ahve a nice 6 1/2 that I'd love to hear a review on...but can't find one. Pair them with a good amp and what do you have? Anyone...?

Did you have problems with FM reception using the Hawg amp and did you have to reflash your Boom system? I'm planning to use the Magic Box from Cycle Sounds but I'm curious about your Hawg CS300, it's an option I may explore.
Thanks for the info on the speakers.

So questions on both the j&m and BT kits. Do they come with the wiring kits if you buy the kit? Also with the j&m kit I was referencing above I'm looking at under 750 for the 180w and 6.65 speakers so....

The J&M kits come with all the wiring needed to complete installation.

It seems you're dead set on J&M which is fine if thats what you want. However my opinion has not changed regardless of what your spending. A 180watt amp at that price is ridiculous when you can get a 300 watt amp for half that (RF PBR 300x2). No matter how you try and justify it to yourself, your overpaying for sub par equipment.

No flash, didn't use the magic box and no issues with FM reception that I can tell... I do however have the hidden antenna due to having the removal tour pack kit....
