Yea, it was a wiring conglomeration alright. I do want to mention this...like I said earlier, this is nothing against the Rokker products. You and your staff have been nothing but top notch in the responses and help provided. The thing is that I have decided to go a different direction and what I had as far as wiring and such probably wasnt sufficient for what I have going on. It may have been...who knows. But, overall, I am very pleased with the quality and such from the rokker products. It's just that I am wanting more and the Rokkers cant provide it to me.

That crap that audio stores sell you that is "oxygen free", 4ga in outer diameter and 16ga inner diameter is just that, crap and a sales gimmick. A solid stranded copper wire in 10ga size will carry up to 40a over a 100' length before voltage/current drop starts to occur.
I did end up using the rokker wires to power the PBR...only because I was lazy and didnt feel like driving back out to the store to buy a distribution block and more power wires. All I did was cut the end off the rokker power wires and hooked em up into the PBR. Everything fit perfect so I am happy with that so far.

I dont know if I agree...my PBR300x2 came out the box with the build sheet stating it was tested at 186 watts per channel @ 2 ohms. That was eye popping to say the least. A little over 20% more power than what it is rated at is pretty damn good if you ask me. Maybe the "Prime" amps have that issue, but I cant really comment on that because I have no experience dealing with them. I wish I could've heard the infinitys being powered by the rokker amp. Im curious to hear how it would have sounded. But since the front right channel on the rokker amp has quit working correctly, I would only be able to run them in series and that would have caused the wattage to be significantly less than what the PBR is feeding them....and that wouldn't be an apples to apples comparison.

eshaw ,,,,,,

I would not believe the PBR build sheet on the power output ,,,,,,,,

I have very reliable information & test data that those R/F power numbers are inflated ,,,,,,,

I will be getting back to the board with more info at a later time on this issue ,,,,,,

I don't want to run my mouth any further till I have specifics and REAL data ,,,,,,

certainly educational for some in the way RF tests their amp outputs. They have done this the same way since about 1985-ish (if memory serves me correctly)

Thank you for posting FPB.

Their birth sheets are impressive regardless of what amp you're using. Problem is most don't understand the methodology used in determining that output power and it IS unlike anything else used. I guarantee you most amps are not even capable of being tested this way in respect to design and the costs for equipment involved in doing so. Run a 180* signal phase shift at 500w of real power with a 60hz test tone being piped through an amp and see how fast you can make a lot of amps smoke. I love it when people get on here and mouth off because a buddy had a bad experience with something and there is no factual data to back it up, i.e. the guys fairing that melted.

These guys (RF) build badd-azz amps and ALWAYS have. Hell I remember the Punch 45 being stable at 1/2 ohm bridged pumping out close to 1000w of measured power and the fins on that amp would glow red from heat. Course as with any company, you get the occasional screw up like with the initial batches of the 300x4 that leaves a bad taste for some but IMO that was resolved quick enough.
