Replaced the SS 4 520 with the BT 4180... LOUD AND CLEAN!!! Sounded great in the garage, took a short (1 Hr.) ride. I could finally hear the subtle dynamics of my favorite music like Queen (Liar) and Kansas (Lonely Street). When my wife heard it she said it finally sounds like she thought the other upgrade's should have sounded like. I also rode over to one of my buddy's house, He's got a J&M Rocker system in his bike...DUSTED..., he looked like he was ready to cry. Very happy with how the 4180 push's my Focal Kps's 6.5 components in the fairing, 6.5 Titan II's in lowers and Pods and 6x9 HAT's in the lid's. Quality built amp made in USA, anybody thinking of trying this amp I say go for it!!!
Awesome!!! I am in the middle of finally getting the correct system together. Of course, I have the tn4.900 installed and it was pushing 4 each pioneers. Had another amp that was pushing the kappas. Someone bought that amp for me and i installed it on his road king on saturday. Now, I have a soundstream tn2.600 that I am going to run the four pioneers (parallel wiring should equal 150 watts @ 2 ohms to each speaker) and will use the tn4.900 to push the kappas (only have one pair for now. watts should be 225 per speaker @ 2 ohm). We'll see how it all sounds hopefully tonite or tomorrow with plenty of pics coming.
Congrats brother! It funny I was bugging poineer about this exact upgrade yesterday!! I knew he had made the change but he did several changes at once. So moto mike would you concider the upgrade huge or minimal for the cost?
Man, I hate reading threads like this. Why? Because I'm hating big time. I'm to cheap and tired of changing out my audio. I rode last night and now that I have my PBR's adjusted properly, the sound is great but I know there's even better out there. lol
Anyway, congrats man, enjoy!

Eshaw - Did you try the TN4.900 with the four Pioneers yet? Interested to know how that sounded? I'm running the TN4.900 with two Pioneers and it sounds awesome! Might want to exercise some caution on the gains and volume sending 225 watts to the Kappas. They will take 150 all day long. 225 watts is another story.
