My dealer has a CVO SG with the audio port on the dash, left side of the radio. Looks like that would work, too.
Splice in audio lines shouldn't be an issue, functionally. Just get two small, waterproof connectors, male and female, and mount them behind the cover.

The 14 to 22 should work. Can't see it smaller than 22, but only way to know for sure would probably be to cut it.
