Bought a Harley springer front end off Ebay and the guy did not know what year or model it came from. It was a decent price, so I bought it.
Now I'm trying to set it up on a build but not knowing what it came off of is causing headaches. Like, I bought a brake caliper for it, but where I have 8.5 inches between the forks, and the wheel takes 7.25, the caliper bracket needs 2 inches just on one side.... Yeah, that won't work.
I know it's an fx, because brake mounting is on the right. I know it's a genuine Harley, because the patent number matches. Beyond that though... <sigh>
There is a number below the patent #, (KA 5274), but I haven't been able to find a match on Harley parts lists... but then most of those are categorized by the year of the bike, and I don't know what year this is.
