Goldwing (brat/Cafe) build

last GPS mount we made for the chop, cut out the hole with a mill to step it so it would still lock in and then threaded in some allens to hold it extra secure, then polishd the **** out of it

ok, so here is what we did on them,
cut the stock mufflers off right behind the stock weld joint, from there ground down the tabs to keep them smoooooth and allow us to fit our spacers (reducer) they where only 2.50 from autozone...
next we measuered to get an idea where we wanted them to hang, we where able to use the stock moutns on not only the sporty mufflers but also the frame from the stock pipes, only thing to make them level i had to ground down the right side of the bikes muffler tab and oval out the hole a bit to get them to line up.
we wanted to kick them out a bit to fatten them up in the back, this was done simply by getting a collar spacer and grinding it a bit on the belt sander to get the line we wanted then welding that spacer right to the muffler.
before we welded anyting up the heat shields where cut off... this let justing weld aroudn the pipe a bit easier but als when i welded them back on it completely coverd any welds we did... looks great!!! took some time and figuring to get them lined up perfect but i can tell you they are! and look wicked!
the mufflers flow very well with the frame and stay well out of the way for a passanger shoes... even lined them up in case she is in heels on the back so you do not get scuffs or burn marks on the mufflers!
going to lay some powder on them this week and bolt them up wiht the new exhaust gaskets and cross another to do off the list!

and the tab that had to be cut down 1 inch
i tore it all apart and shot it black to match the bike
