ha ha ha thanks bud! how you doing!? I test rode a cross roads the other day and thought of ya, man that sucker is SMOOOOTH
Not too bad, working 2 jobs now. I'm doing the webmaster thing for our new local Victory dealership now. Running their site, facebook page and being their photographer along with my UPS gig.
yes sir i went to ride the Vision but they did not have any demo bikes... had to ride something have not rode a victory yet!!! so took out the C roads... was very nice.. but wife wants a full back rest and fairing...
narrowed it down to:
ultra (twin cam)
BMW 1200 LT
Goldwing (1500 or 1800)
Vision
but i thnk the vision is just a bit too $$$ i am keeping the dyna and only looking to spend aroud 10 - 13g so we will see
I looked at a victory 8-ball vegas when i was first looking at a new bike. They were fast and fun but almost too smooth for my preference (which is probably exactly what you would want on a touring bike.) The dealer who went on the test ride with me was riding the vision and i don't think too many people would say it isn't a damn cool looking bike for a big touring bagger (pretty sure it won the styling award the year it came out). Lots of bells and whistles like heated grips etc. Plus I don't see as many people on 'em as wings, harley baggers etc.
man i tell you what... sometimes the dumbest things take forever... i had to make a support for the master cyl... made 9 of them... did not like anything i made, either too bulky, to noticable, or just looked bad... i wnated somethign that once coated would just vanish
finally attempt #10 i got what i wnated... still needs powder of course... and after i got the rough finish on it, i then took it off and turned it on the belt sander to "fit" better... but here is the rough finish product... once i get the rest of it all coated then i will post more pics... man this thing took forever to get perfect! ha ha ha little things make big diff overall on a scoot though right!
ha ha ha it is not even that involved... i guess i was just overthinking it!
