I just discovered this part of the forum. I don't have a TM, but my buddy does. A 2006 or 2007, not sure of the model. I was with him when he bought it new at the TM dealer in Colorado. Always thought it was about the nicest looking bike I've seen, especially for a daily rider. (except for mine haha) It's the red an black one in the pic.
Hi, I just found this so glad I did. I don’t know anyone else with a thunder mountain. We’ve had our keystone since 2016 (love it). We bought it in Vancouver WA and rode it home to GA great trip. We treat it like a bagger ride it everywhere. Looking forward to using this sit 2007 keystone 103

Hello all, I just stumbled across this forum. I just inherited a 2007 TM Keystone from my father. He just passed away on Thursday after a long battle with ALS. He was the strongest man I have ever known and it was horrible to see him bed ridden for so many years. He has been a HD guy his entire life and got me into it many years ago. He bought the 88 Softail Springer brand new and eventually gave that to one of my other brothers. He bought the 2003 Softail Springer, 100 Anniversary, and I bought that from him when he was first diagnosed with ALS. He had also purchased the 2007 Keystone brand new as well. So when he was first diagnosed, he knew he wouldnt be able to ride too much longer, so he sold me the Springer and bought a Superglide Trike. As he lost movement in his left arm, he put a centrifugal clutch in so he could auto shift it. He would then velcro his left hand to the handlebars so he could still ride. As he got worse, my mom got her license (she was always the passenger) so she could drive the trike and he could still ride on the back. They ended up making the trip a few years back (riding of course, because he would never trailer lol) to Sturgis from their home in Annapolis, MD. He used to ride the TM with my mom on the back from MD to Louisiana to see my brother play college football. (1200 miles each way). He was AMAZING.. With his passing last week, I will be taking the TM and keeping the legend alive...
Here is where I need some help. Whenever I hook up the battery, the ignition lights come on immediately, along with the brake lights. The ignition switch is still in off, but everything is lit up which drains the battery. The turn signals also do not work. When I pull the front brake, the brake lights go out. I just changed out the rear brake light switch and that did nothing. Plan on changing out the front brake light switch next. Any ideas on what else it could be? Saw some posts saying maybe the ignition switch needs cleaned or replaced. Thanks guys!!

Sorry, no help. But sorry for your loss. Sounds like riding was meant allot to him..
Sorry for the loss of your father, sounds like he was a good man.

Check all the ground connections you can find and make sure they are clean and solid.
Thunder Mountain HD is still alive and well in Ft, Collins, CO. You may be able to get in touch with them on Tuesday about getting an electrical schematic and/or a shop manual from them.
