Default Home made seat

do you have the specs for the seat or would you be willing to make another to sell. I just picked up a thunder mountain chopper and I want a passenger seat and also one I can attach a pelican case to.

I built frame but I found a new Heartland seat cushion on eBay for $67. So far I have about $100 into the seat. The only thing left to do at this point is add a sissy bar.

Hey Seamus, what model TMCC did you get? I've got the passenger setup for my Keystone that I've never used, might be willing to part with it.

I'm very interested in your seat. Call my cell phone when you get a chance I'd love to talk to you more about it. 201-268-1823

This is NOT the Classifieds. No buying/selling/trading. You new guys need to read the rules. You have not met the qualifications for it either.

Default I'm glad you're here!

Yeah, I've been doing my own thing and not following regularly, sorry... But just scanned the posts today and am glad to still see TMChopper folks! Mine is still running strong at 38k miles. A few add-ons over the years and regular maintenance of course, but really only had one part failure; broken throttle cable. At least it broke while I was at Sturgis so I was back on the road in short order.
I'm noticing some excess wear on the rear rotor so I'm looking for a replacement. It'll probably be fine until take the wheel off again for a new tire so no rush but I know finding a matching original can be challenging sometimes. If I recall, the rotor is matched to (supplied by?) the wheel manufacturer?

Default 2008 Thunder Mtn, Keystone

For me - it has it all: looks, speed, big fat tire, lots of chrome, and best of all, the heart and soul of HD. I know many of you may not feel that this is a real HD, but I mean to tell you - the way this baby is built - it screams HD quality and reliability all the way down the road.

My reason for being here is that I do not see a lot of chatter about these bikes. I know the company went out of business. Yeah, they didn't know too much about economics, but they did build some gorgeous machines before they left. All with mostly HD parts! Mine has the Screamin' Eagle 110, Baker six speed, all HD controls wiring, lights, brakes, and instruments, all posted to a super stretch gloriously painted custom frame that is so well balanced, it nearly stands up by itself. I know I have heard some bad stuff about these bikes, but then how many people are actually posting threads to the forum when everything is working great?

I’d like to get some honest intel on these machines, the company, and who is riding these. Perhaps get some chatter going so we can help one another with questions, information, etc. I know I have lots of questions about my bike and would like to share them with some other folks who own the Thunder Mountain products.

So – is anyone out there riding a Thunder Mountain? I’d like to talk with you. Good or bad news. Send a note, post a thread. I’ll be in touch.

Thanks for reading and ride safe.
i have a 2008 TM Keystone, i just noticed its leaking a redish fluid from the right side but have no idea what it is or where its coming from. Any thoughts?
