How to clean switches

The switches on my glide, spk,cruise,acc, have become dirty, looks like they are covered in lime or something. Have tried different plastic cleaners, and lime away to no avail. anyone have an idea. Thanks

No never thought about that, thanks I will give it a try they look pretty bad, thought about replacing but do not know what that intells. Should it be straight, or mixed? Someone said that the sun will bleach them do you know if this is true? Btw your bike looks great.

It may just be water deposits...mix water and vinegar half and half to start. If the switches are black than may become faded. After trying the vinegar mix apply some vinyl dressing or back to black type product.

Tried the vinegar/water did not work, also tried back to black,and a few others. Maybe the switches are bleached?. do not know, anyhow thanks. May look into replacing the switches.
