Another pledge user here.
Started with Honda polish from my VTX friend, figured it was pledge, and pledge is much cheaper.
If its good enough for Honda, its probably bad for metal

Waxing high temp chrome such as exhaust has no effect. The wax will immediately burn off.
I've tried simichrome, meguires, mothers, never-dull, etc.
The very best - without exception - results came from MetalGloss and SealerGloss.

Got my Protect All in the mail on Wednesday, rode to work in the fog on Thursday and used the Protect All to clean up the bike Thursday night. Protect All is the greatest, wiped on with one cloth wiped off with the other and the bike looks great.
