Some progress? That's the understatement of the day Nice! I'm really loving the Predator mount, it gave the bike a nice feel; it's hard to explain, but you'll notice it and at the rate you're moving it will be sometime tomorrow afternoon when you're out riding again
Which firebrand pipe do you have? I have the loose cannon slip on and it was only slightly louder than stock.
Got the upstarts. Like I said they sound good just louder than I was expecting.

I usually do. Time in the infantry taught me about good hearing protection. Just wanted to get out on a test ride.
Does anyone have a solution for some quite baffles or a way to quiet it a bit? Not a lot just a slight bit. I swear it was on this forum I saw some kind of torque baffles of some sort but can not ****ing find it. Maybe it was another forum.

Glad you're wearing hearing protection, so many riders don't seem to believe it's necessary but a good set of plugs doesn't diminish the riding experience and can save them from that cumulative hearing loss toll from the wind noise. I've got some custom ear plugs but I also really like the Alpine MotoSafe Race ear plugs; they're very effective at cutting out the wind.
I wonder on your Firebrand Upstarts if you could get some Thunder Torque Inserts in them. The pipe is 2 1/2", depending on how your baffles are positioned some W158's or Q158's along with your baffles in place may tame them just enough. Might be worth checking out or call to DK and talk to Kevin or Dawn and get their opinion.
