If you still have the stock intake with the k&n and slip ons you should be fine. If you have a stage 1 intake then you will possibly need to add more fuel. If you aren't planning on doing any internal engine mods I would go with a set of xieds from http://sales.nightrider.com/
I've had them on 2 bikes and they work great.
I have the stock intake with a K&N air filter inside.. i replaced it because the one that was in when i bought the bike was all messed up and in a really bad shape.

Ok thanks.. i will check it out!
Your welcome. My dad has a 09 ultra with vance & hines slip ons and a k&n inside the stock intake with no fuel managment and it runs great. I think the only time you have to worry about a tuner is when you put a more open intake on.
Even if you don't see a module, the computer may still have been re-programmed.
However, lots of people run freer-flowing intake and exhaust successfully (including me) without any tuning changes or module. The computer will self-adjust to some extent.
Your stock EFI will adapt quite a bit, but it will still be constrained to lean parameters even with a dealer flash. EPA keeps it that way. So while it runs "OK" without anything else, it will run far better with XIEDs or a proper tuner module that can increase the fuel to air mixture. Lean is not the best condition for any bike to operate in. For $100 you might just chuck some XIEDs on there. Takes about 10 minutes and a few zip ties. Super simple. Or spend a bit more and get a real tuner, especially if you have motor mods in your future.
So i bought my fxdb 1 years ago and was told it had PC installed.
I drove like 10000 km last year on it and this winter i discovered that there was no efi module or anything on it.
I can read that this is bad for my engine so is there anything i should check when i am doing my next service before the season starts.
ps. i had little to no truble with the bike last year - only some low idle when warm from time to time.
Cheers
You should be fine. However, if you choose to do any mods you may need some type of fuel management. Below is a link on EFI Options where you may find some good information as well. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/ignit...uning-etc.html
