Default Vibra Technics service

Ordered my VT engine mount ex UK about 2pm last Thursday and it arrived on my doorstep here in Western Australia before lunchtime today, Monday. Got an email saying my order had been received pretty much straight away and another with a Fed Ex tracking number later on that day. Pretty impressive service!

Fitted my VT engine mount today, there's enough info on here already without going into a detailed write up, suffice to say, it's very straight forward and took me about 40 -45 mins all up. Initial impressions, a little more vibration at idle and low rpm, feels way more solid and secure in corners and seems to track better at highway speeds. Money well spent, one of those instances where you don't realize how poor the standard part is until you fit something better!

Default More Vibration

The increased vibration is a bit odd,the whole idea of the Mount is to actually work properly as an isolation mount & decrease Vibration.I think i might talk to them about it.
Cheers,Graham.

Wholeheartedly agree. I bought it for vibration control, didn't think I had any challenges with stability until I rode it on the Interstate and realized what a more pleasant experience it was (at least as pleasant as riding an Interstate can be). Quite right on the service, I couldn't believe the speed of shipping and when I wasn't sure if I was going to keep it (not their challenge just mine), they readily let me know that they would take it back should I chose to not keep it. Very good folks to work with.

It is strange, but it does seem to be better in most conditions.
