Big City Thunder Baffles, Tips & Review
I took the bottom one out first and it literally fell into my hand after i took the bolt out. the top one was stuck in there real good. Even went as far as attaching it to the tow hitch on my car and trying to ride it out. What ended up working was a fairly simple solution, and I hope this will help anyone who's looking to do this mod and finds themselves in the same situation. To get the top baffle out, I inserted the retaining bolt the opposite way (from the inside of the pipe), took a steel coat hanger and hooked it onto the bolt, took a big mallet and anchored it on the other side to have a better grip to pull on, and pulled as hard as i could while having my girlfriend hit the pipe repeatedly with a rubber mallet. By doing this the baffle came out slowly, until it came out far enough to just grab and twist out.
Now that the hard part was done, the rest was a walk in the park; just follow the simple directions provided by Big City Thunder. A friendly tip, keep the hanger laying around, I had to use it to push the new baffles in the recommended 6 inches and to align it so it could be bolted in place. Easy stuff, helps to have a flashlight.
As for the product itself, outstanding. You can read as many reviews on the forums and even view youtube videos, but you can only fully appreciate the improved exhaust tone in person. Deeper, louder, more aggressive...all the good things we look for in the exhaust note. I read some people's reviews saying they thought it was too loud, and I have to disagree, it's the right amount of loud. Performance wise, i didn't believe it until i felt it; but there is a small improvement in the mid range. Feels like the bike pulls harder past 3000 rpms for a more even power distribution throughout the range.
All in all, I would recommend this product to anyone looking to modify their exhaust for a more aggressive sound with a small power bump, all for a reasonable price. I think, and i'm no expert, that the people with 2-2 pipes who feel a flat spot in power are the people that would benefit most from these baffles.

If you have 2 in 2 exhaust these are a must in my eyes... if you don't get them your missing out. .
I'm sure you can, they have multiple variations to fit different setups. Your best bet would be to give them a call for better guidance. Very friendly people, and knowledgeable too.
