so im in the process of installing the traxxion straight rate springs and ricor intiminators and rsd adjusters i posted about earlier. But as i went to pull my forks apart i noticed my spring lengths are drastically different lengths from the trax springs to the stock springs. I emailed traxxion but wanted ur opinions. it just didnt seem correct to me maybe u can help and tell me in comparison tp what u guys installed
I just replied to your PM, this is probably correct. Can you confirm 380 mm for the new spring? Make sure you read various threads and charts they will help you determine what to cut your spacer to. Also what fork oil did you get and how much do you weigh?

They are 300 mm. Im doing shock theray amsoil #10....what would u reccomend cutting the spacers to? Are my springs to short?
Id put the spring in and measure the distance from the top of the spring to the top of the tubes. Start there, you can always take them out and shorten them if you have to, but I'd be willing to guess that cutting the spacer at the top of the tube will get you close enough with adjusters. What's the rate on the springs?
So as I understand it, it sounds like he has a 39mm fork that has no spacer. The Traxxion spring is actually shorter than the stock spring which is different from what most of us have had. Of course the pre load adjusters and intiminator's will be adding some depth. Apetterez is this accurate? If anyone has done this then please let us know. I guess the question is if he had no spacer initially with a long spring pressing directly against the fork tube cap or a washer and then a fork tube cap, is there any issue with adding a spacer similar to most of our current set ups? It would be nice if anyone with a 39mm fork could chime in but from the PM's this is what it seems like.
Apetterez, have you by chance searched for any similar mods?

U hit the nail on the head. If anyone can give some advise here.
Does this help? My 97 didn't have any spacers. The stock springs that were in my front forks are 22 3/8" or 568mm and were down against the damper rod and up against a washer that was against the cap.
