When I was researching this issue, I noticed the negative cable to the battery was real hot. This cable was not tight against the terminal. I tightened it up, the heat stopped and I have not had this issue since.
Try cleaning iac sensor or buying new one. I did this to mine and issue is gone
im having these same problems and kinda got it from a Shady dealership idk if warrantys gonna cover it. My compensator is going to 16 fxdl with 9000 miles had like 6300 when I got it, all stock minus the exhaust
I don't know if this is what is happening with your bike but my 2011 Dyna Street Bob started doing that after my battery went completely dead. I charged it back up but that's when the problems started. I never did figure out what the problem was, but I believe it had something to do with the battery. Check your fuses, clean them and replace if necessary, check your system relay in your fuse box. I did a load test on my battery and it checked out fine. I traded in my bike before I replaced the battery (it was time for a change anyway...). I ended up throwing a lot of parts... (new stator, voltage regulator), before I traded. battery cables both were clean and tight. FYI, now I ALWAYS put my bike on the battery tender. Lesson learned,
I got another Dyna (2014),. Let's see how this one goes.
Throw a good battery in, make sure the battery connections are good. I hope this fixes the problem!
