I've had a Ness, HD quarter fairing, Conely's T-sport, JD T-sport, and FXRT replica. The JD is by far the most well made quality product out of all.
I believe that the T-sport gives better wind blockage than the HD. It definitely blocks far more wind than only the HD Quarter fairing with no aftermarket windscreen. For a while I ran the HD Quarter fairing with a Road Dawgs windscreen and I loved that- after that I switched to the T-sport and found that it blocked a similar amount of wind off my chest with a little more on the side. It may have been in my head, but I felt like I could feel the difference on the long days, and I take a fair amount of longer trips.
I also drank the kool aid and bought the anti-buffeting spacer kit for the T-sport windshield from JD. I believe that it helped any buffeting issues I had, which were minimal. Also looks pretty killer. Just a word of advice if you get that kit- change the windshield bolts, they will oxidize.
I recommend JD Customs, they put out a quality product that works. Good luck
Anyone have a report on if you are 6'3 to 6'4 with buffeting?
I'm 6'1, and have had the HD 1/4 fairing and the Rifle Roadster with the 16" shield. The HD 1/4 had horrible buffeting, the Rifle was better but anything over 60 mph, I had still had some. I got a wind deflector from an old Electra Glide I had and mounted it under the trees and that seemed to help. I'm saving up for a JD customs FXRP fairing now

I as well had horrible buffeting with quarter fairing. I currently have a chopped narrow glide fairing, I really want better coverage but I'm so hesitant dealing with buffeting. I had a road glide fairing on my road king, Had buffeting all over the place....
Can I get a windshield/fairing on a bike with no buffeting that looks cool too, for a person who is 6'3/6'4....The jury is still out
I had a couple dents in my shield so decided to fix it. I was surprised how less buffeting I had without it. I'm no giant 5-9 but I'm gonna put the shield back on...
