I went to the dealer today and was thinking of adding the speedo,tach cluster to my 06 superglide today but they didn't think harley had one for the 06. The book said up to 05.... have any of you ran into this problem...

Yes.
The riser and speedometer housing are from an 06 sportster, and the tach mount is from ebay.
The whole works will be quite costly. Expect to spend around 600-700 dollars by the time you buy the riser, the dogbone with the speedo mount, the assembly for the idiot lights, the tach, and the tach mount.

The tach for the sportster 06-07 sportster will fit. Trust me.Go to the dealer and measure. The dealership might diagree, I bought a chrome speedo mount for my 06 fxd and at first, the guy at the dealership disageed, then he measured, it fit, try it.

Somewhere on here is a few people that have taken a night train center console and installed it into a dyna, so the speedo and tach are in it. This is what I want to do, but I have no idea where or who has done it, so if anyone knows please let us know.
