Enlighten me please!
My dealer had a Riders Reward card that put 10% of purchases into an account from which I could buy more stuff...at retail. It was valid for my first calendar year. Now, if I need genuine HD parts, I prefer to order from Zanotti's where I save 20% off HD's pricing and don't pay sales tax. Shipping is usually negligible.
Just what does my HOG membership entitle me to? Have never bought a new bike or felt the need to join.
dailydriver- That's Funny! hehee
We pay for both of us to have a seperate membership-
I had to use my HOG Membership for towing it helped- but the closest dealer from us was over 100 miles away ( unlimitied???)- they took us back to the motel- hubby drove 12 hrs to get a trailer to tow my sporty back home-
As for the state rally-the one and only timewe went-I've renamed HOG it stands for Harley's Old Geezers- our $80 rally& that's with a membership zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
The ppl in our chapter seem a little upity- they started the dinner rides @ 4pm get that! what the he** for the blue plate special??? I'm not into riding in groups
I don'tmind the Map book they send- nice when you travel
the mags 5 mins worth of reading not bad
Dealer here gives 10% discount but Hubby works for dealership so don't need that
I dont wear the pins or patches - ripped them off after the state rally zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Be Safe!

It is a club, you only really need it if you want to join and ride with the others in the chapter. As far as the other info they provide, you can get that for free off of the HD website.
I guess I would rather get something a little more tangible for my money.
