Rusty nut on exhaust
This helps eliminate moisture in the tank, compensation type. I have already started keeping my full. None ethanol type.
If I see rust on the studs and or nut I just clean em
A little bit of truth in a joke makes it almost believable. Well it is true, I refill my gas tank when it gets empty.
Motorcycles that I store inside during the winter here I don't store with full tanks. Winter air is dry when it's below freezing. Vehichles I store outside, I fill the tanks. Like DB said in cold temps moisture in the air in an empty tank condenses to water which can f@ck things up.
I only use stainless if I have to. If you do use stainless best use anti seize. The nuts are cheap to replace.
I keep plenty of the flange nuts on hand.

I meant to say the flange nuts and not the stud bolts themselves, my bad.
