Normal. Its parasitic drag from cold fluid and fully immersed clutch discs. A Bandit doesn't have the discs in the fluid and has better clutch to steel separation.
Good to know Soft. Thnx!
Are there any particular brands of oils that can help? Or do I need to, or should I really go with a Bandid clutch. 2014 Slim with 12k original mi.

I've tried both Specto SAE 80 and type F. Type F had a slightly firmer grab but that was it. Best clutch ever!
I figure 1 maybe 2 hours labor plus gaskets, oil and the clutch. $650-800.
I can't do the work my self. No way. No how!
I also don't feel that finding neutral is all that difficult on my 2014 FLS and the clunking with shifts is really a none issue. Will there really be that much more than that that I will be happy with after having paid Joe his fee? Because if there's more than just a happy shifting go lucky machine hummin along those happy trails, then I'm down!
LA_Dog just sent me a 68T pulley I know will be a mild increase in torque. But cost is next to nill.
So for $850. I expect a lot more. Even if it's nothing more than something that helped the bike maintain a healthier habit.. That would be worth it!
I respect your opinion Soft 02. So please set me straight. Thanks!

For me I need the stronger clutch for the 124" but for you it would be happy shiftoing, smoother primary and something that will never wear out on a stock machine! Lever pull is like stock too. If you can stomach the cost then go for it!
Thank you Soft. Obviously, when the time come I need a new clutch. Something I will consider since I love my bike so much, I know I will never let it leave me. LOL
