Hey soft 02, you probably sold me on the Bandit more than anybody. How many ounces of oil are you running? Some recommend a couple extra over what Bandit says....
18oz. Recomended is 16 i believe. A friend with a 124 just put one on last week. He had a SE clutch. Lever pull was horrible. So far he loves the Bandit. Feels like stock.

Having started riding Harleys for just less than two years and reading all the compensator horror stories has caused me a few sleepless nights now that I'm about to turn 10k mi on my Slim
So I'll just hang here and see what goes.

I've beat on my bike pretty hard but only with a stage 1 103ci but even at my 10k oil change I wasnt getting any metal particles on the plug out of the primary.

Looks like you are on a 2014, starting that year HD improved the compensator with a built in oiling tray on the inside of the outer primary cover. They also redesigned the bolt and compensator retainer to allow the oil to run onto all the needed areas.

When I installed my mid controls, I bought a 2014 outer primary cover and I do think it helped me a little but I still had the older comp.
