I have made the mistake to buy the 1D12R 2into 1.
Torque completly lost.
Decel poping (The hd dealer can't set the tune) I have had to buy a thunder torque insert that has imprive the torque, the sound is better (less metalic), and decel poping almost cancelled.
The problem is that with the 1D12R , the two headers tubes are Under the footpeg. About 12cm from footpeg to down of the down header. Too much, I scrapp the road when curves in mountains.
Bas choice!
better choose a Bassani with the pipe of the rear cylinder going rear the bike and not in direction of front joigning the other header. But you will still have decel poping and lost of torque (Thunder otroque insert solve it).
;-)
Yup, that was taken right before a week long trip to Pismo Beach. That was the proper mounting of those tires. Had mounting direction arrows on the sidewall as well.
I have the Bassani RR II on it has been good so far. I have some buddies that have them and they say the ceramic coating on them is not very good. If you knick the pipe at all it starts to rust. If anyone is interested, I am looking to sell mine (only has 1300 miles on it) for $450 because I want to get the new Two Brothers Comp S 2-1. I friend has one and it's awesome. Sounds great, the build quality is amazing and I love how short it is.
Bassani 1D18RB On my 2011 Superglide. Love everything about it. It will scrape on a knee dragger. Fuel moto microtuner and Kuryakin Velociprator all work great together
