Default Black exhaust options - Road King Special

I’m looking at purchasing the 2018 Road King Special in vivid black. Previous bikes had Fuel Moto stage 1 setups. I like the deep rumble, throaty sound of the 4” Jackpots I have. Not loud but deep sound. Any recommendations in an all black setup to give similar sound/performance?

I think you’ve answered your own question.

I have this bike and just bought the wrong pipe, not happy with sound. The M8 is much quieter than the old twin cam bikes. Definitely gotta get rid of cat. I did the V&H hi output for all the same reasons you listed, low throaty growl, not too loud. It is too quiet for me

I did a Fullsac header and VH slip-ons. Fullsac also makes replacement cores for the factory mufflers if you want to make sure all the black finishes match perfectly still like oem.

We always suggest the Vance and hines slip-ons. Deep sound and have nothing but good reviews on performance. I attached some pictures for you ! Keep me posted if you want any more info?

I've tried several slip ons, and the Fulsac baffles in the stock mufflers, all with a de-catted headpipe. The only ones I've found that actually give you any semblance of the 103 sound are the Tab's with Zombie baffles. I know sound is subjective, but if you want any kind of deep sound, stay away from V&H. I love their stuff, but on the M8 they just don't have a good sound. Way too quiet, and almost no low rumble.

Just my 2c.

I love my V&H monster rounds. Real deep tone and still have some sound when you decide to get in the throttle, pretty tame otherwise.

I run the Rinehart Slim Line duals headpipe and their Moto Pro 4.5 mufflers. Very nice deep rumble. It's a keeper and I have changed exhausts often on previously owned bikes.
