Time for a new pipe, for a 124" torque motor which pipe would you go with and why? Both are stainless, both offer various lengths and step options. Spf looks to have a little more ground clearance but the sawicki seems pretty tight too. I'm torn, what's the best option?
Well I'm saying this on personality alone, but every time I reached out to Tyler at Sawicki to talk about options he was incredible to deal with. But I tend to go by gut with these types of things!

LSR. 2" header pipes. Best performance and looks IMO. Lsr has multiple conifgs to choose from.
Tyler has been quick to answer all my emails, definitely been good to deal with up to this point. I'm not a big fan of that lsr either, I know I'm hard to please...

are you getting rid of your super meg?
i always thought that was a sweet pipe
The Sawicki headers look a lot like your Thunderheaders, so if you don't drag them maybe you will be good. Between the 2, I like the the Sawicki choice, I think the longer length will help you keep the hp/tq that you are used to.

No love for D&D Bob Cat?
i love the fat cat
i bought one for my lowrider but it did not work well with the newer forward mids. I wasnt really willing to move the brake lever anymore so d and d took it back. I never even started it, but it looked badass.
now i have the stock 2-1 head pipe with the se nightstick slip on. It even still has the cat in it. quite as hell and i know it is robbing power. It was soppuse to be temperary untill i found a good pipe option, but then work slowed down and blah, blah, blah......... just got use to it.

Agree w/ PILOT. Go with the one that is the longer pipe.
For your 124, since you are not a fan of RB, I would recommend the D&D Borzilla. The other D&D's would just be to small for your beast and hold it back.

No, I had talked with Tyler from Sawicki prior to getting the supermeg. He was able to adjust volume of pipe with steel wool and I was keen on that at the time. I loved his pipes and liked his story. Would have done his pipes but couldn't afford them at the time and wanted the assured volume control since that was my concern.
