Those cams look familiar! What compression are you aiming for?

That HPI tb is a beauty for sure.

Steve(GMR) is my tuner, great guy for sure, one of the smartest Harley techs there is. Did not realize he was getting so big in selling parts though, interesting.
I am surprised he did not talk you into his Genesis 577s, nice cams too.

I'm digging it, but I think you have been holding back on us with all your scheming....we want in man!

Thanks guys! DB is working the heads to 10.5-10.8; I've got two tricks left up my sleeve besides the final outcome of the top and bottom end works themselves, those heads are going to be crazy hot.

One trick is not earth shattering but I don't think it is overly commonly used. It's an over-the-counter part.

The second is another personal ingenuity tinker to solve a problem and the answer has been in front of my face and under my nose the entire time, and everyone else's for that matter
It's so simple a caveman would have never figured it out! I hope it works
And, may prove to be the cheapest, simplest solution and fix to a common problem

Muuuuhhhhhaahahaaaaahhhaaaaa

It's Friday and time for "even crazy people like pictures".

Finally got the lower rocker boxes PC and a few other bits, shift linkage and the mount piece for the Vibra-Technics front engine mount.

Heads are done and shipped today, looking forward to getting those, had hoped the bottom end would have arrived first so I could have it all assembled but no biggee.

So, just kicking the can down the road. Friday night cheers to all

I don't know if there's anyone out there who remembers this thread I started years ago but anyway, just kicking the can down the road:

Heads and pistons got back from Baisley a few days ago, bottom end arrived today from DH

1.94 intakes, 1.63 exhaust, 81cc's, 10.8 compression.

Ports big enough to pass a can of beer through

These are purdy!

Need the "In with the new pic"! ***OK now I see them!***

Those heads look sweet, quite a bit more than what I did for my 590s, should be great!

We just waiting to see ya start putting things back together.
