Default Just how much do you need.

I bought a used 2008 Super Glide. It has the V & H slip on long shots and a K & N air filter. Coming down canyons I am getting a little popping. My plugs are a little on the light Gray color. I am thinking a tad lean.
I would like to go with a Big Throat air intake sometime and two into one exhaust (not necessarily at the same time) so, I was looking at buying this. It is pricie so I am wondering if it is over kill.

Checking the temp of SLC today, I'd say you need some more Fahrenheit!

Call FuelMoto and talk with them about a tuner. You can do a lot with a Power Commander and for a lot less money. Yes it is over kill for what you need to do.

Just an FYI, decel popping and burbling isn't caused by a lean condition; it has to do with the reversion of fresh air entering the exhaust mixing with unburnt fuel coming out of the engine under off throttle situations, when the AFR is right the fuel in the exhaust burns and that's what you're hearing. The fix is to alter the AFR in the pipes so fuel can't burn by adjusting the fuel and V/E percentages on decel and preventing the air reversion in to the pipes. I have no experience with the Daytona Twin Tec but I'm sure a fan of the Power Vision on my '13

Yeah it's overkill, you don't need anything like that unless you plan on going with cams.
Me, 2009 FXD, SE Air cleaner, V&H BigShots running a Power Commander 5 with a canned tune from Fuelmoto,, it's a nice bump, I plan on going no further.
If you do plan more advanced modifications the Power Vision is the key.

I for one like the little burble in between shifts and during coast down, engine braking.
