Thanks! It feels good to be able work with my hands again. A lot of things are awkward or near impossible to do now, but I'm getting stronger and re-learning how to move. My right arm used to be my strong one and now it's much weaker than my left USED to be, so simple things often require a failed attempt and re-think on how to do it. I'm still figuring out the best way to connect air tool couplings. My right arm isn't strong enough in that inward direction. I clamp a lot of things between my knees now. Getting better as I work more, tho.
I believe your right arm will gain more strength as time goes. As someone who has been through multiple knee and hip surgeries and rehabs, I always regretted not pushing my self harder on my weak side. The fact that your doing things with your right arm is promising and should be looked at as a positive.
You're an inspiration as many would have walked away and regretted it the rest of their lives.
If it had been just the joint replacement, I'd be golden. Other than a weight restriction.
My main problem is that the MRSA infection and 4 surgeries within 4 months on my right shoulder took out my right anterior deltoid. Combined the reverse orientation and geometry implications with my implants (like no rotator cuff or associated muscles), that leads to less than 2 lbs strength in interior rotation on my right side. I literally cannot push my belt thru my belt buckle. The muscle to make that motion just isn't there. I work it hard everyday, tho! If there's one muscle fiber in there, it's gonna grow eventually...I hope!
I don't really intend to be an inspiration or anything. I just want to do what I did before I got hurt. Almost all of my hobbies involved working with my hands. Always have. I don't know what else to do! LOL!
Got an email from Pete (Rocket Bob's) today saying he is currently running a new lot of exhaust flanges! Aw Yeah! Once I get mine I'll start a new thread just for them.

Wow, I was just contemplating exhaust flanges last night... These look really nice!
A month or so ago, I told him I wanted them (Didn't say it to him, but I mean't "regardless of cost"...within reason. I was prepared to pay $200-ish). He said today they were being run and I asked how much and how to pay. I hope to have a reply late tonight or tomorrow. Damn time difference!
You ever seen parts from MJK Performance? They make some cool fittings and axles for Dynas.
Nope. Just looked them up, tho. Nice looking stuff! I' ve been on the lookout for a flush 3/4" rear axle. Not sure I like their's enough to spend that kind of money. Maybe if they were a bit lower profile.
