**** man. Sorry to hear that. I've heard that happens when wrapping the pipes directly. That really sucks. It looks great with the white seat and white walls.
I think I want to wrap the shields and all. Not sure how that will look but I don't want to have the same problem.
Do you think you'd do it again if you had the chance?

Finally got a stage 1 done. Wrapped the head pipes right over the heat shields to prevent the pipes from cracking and to keep the thickness. Arlen Ness Big Sucker. FP3 tuner. I think it looks great. Sounds awesome! If I had to do it again I'd buy a 50' roll of DEI wrap instead of the two 15' rolls I used. But then again, I will probably just go ahead and get the EXO next time.
But all in all, I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

Just a heads up, mine were wrapped over the heat shields and they still cracked. I don't think I would ever wrap my pipes again unless it was just a show bike.
