Default Speedometer is loose

Is there a way to tighten the speedometer? Mine is loose and wobbles in the housing. It makes noise when riding and it's annoying

The speedometer sits in a gauge clamp with a mounting screw. You should be able to remove the console bolts and lift up the console and see what's going on rather easily.

My speedo sits in a big rubber "gasket" that keeps it firmly planted in the console. More than likely yours has deteriorated and has broken off in places, causing the speedo to rattle around. It's an easy fix.

If you can hear that while riding, there might be something wrong with your exhaust system!

Some one has had it off and did not get the rubber damper that clamps it up to the bottom side of the cover.
Cover the tank and fender with towels. Slide some support up to the side of the tank or get some patient helping hands.
Remove seat if your console goes all the way back. Remove console and flip it over. It should be obvious what is loose or broken..hopefully.
If your not handy with tools, let the dealer fix it. Probably not a bad idea to remove the negative battery clamp.
