Default Need help please!!!

I had the wiring harness to the real tail/brake lights shreaded by the rear tire... all that is fixed now, but what is the best way to affix them to the rear fender to avoid this problem in the future???

Try below..., be sure to clean inner fender thoroughly before affixing

I've even attached them with JB weld

btw there should be a plastic trough to fit the wiring behind, unless there isn't

Should be a plastic holder that goes between the metal strip that holds the fender on and the fender itself. It has a channel above it that holds the cables against the fender. Kinda hard to describe, but here:

Harley makes a wide tire kit that moves the rear wires to the side protected in a channel.

Need more info.
There's at least six different ways to shred it,, we need to figure out what happened and why(?)
What bike?(yr/model)
Did it shred up under the middle of the fender or the rear part?
Did you have a passenger or heavy load when it toasted?
We can help ya out with a decent fix,, but really,, what happened and where?

Relocate the wires to run along the sides and not across the top of the fender.

Luckily my dads hand and arm is smaller than mines and he was able to tuck all the wires from rear of the fender. he reached his arm across the top of the tire and tucked them behind those little plastic fender shields.
