Have you tried this bulb? I have an 04 bucket and curious about fitment? I'm finding the GF and I stay out later and would like to have a lil more light for the back road.
Thanks

it's in my sportster right now. i love it. i love my 8690 more but, the h4 is the ticket in the sub-150 range.
You sold me on the H4 bulb, ordered. Thanks a ton for the post and your contributing pictures. BTW, where did you get those mini LED signals? Love'em
all custom dynamics from ridethelight.com. cheapest source. i get all (95%) my CD led stuff from Shilo, the guy how owns the site. give him a call and he will hook you up.
i had to order some from dennis kirk recently because the ones i wanted were discontinued and only dennis kirk had them. otherwise, i would have gotten them from Shilo.
I have the real Harley Daymaker, and it is bright. Way brighter than stock. It does have its downside though. Like you, I live in the country, and I ride at night on curvy unlit back roads. The Daymaker's LED's produce a very wide but flat beam. When going into a corner, leaning, it leaves the leading edge pitch black. so slowing is a must. I added an LED light bar which helped, but if I knew then what I know now, for me, I'd buy an H4 replacement and save money.

that's exactly why i jumped headlong into the 8690A as soon as i saw the article about it.... it adapts output when cornering.... a must to stop the country/swamp ninja deers and possums from bringing ruin. it's something you really have to use to believe. i love it so much that when i wrecked my bike, it was the first thing i went for... pulled it right off as soon as i came to my senses.

Just my opinion for how and where I ride.
That is VERY good advice and I think we need product review of people who have installed aftermarket parts from stock and pro's/con's. I write reviews when I buy **** so prepare for lengthy opinionated BS coming from me HAHA.
With your review of the Daymaker I would have erased it from my memory instantly! I ordered the H4 replacement and figuring it would leave me blind in corners am considering mini-LED to point outward a bit to widen the visibility like I did on my BMW. Digging those custom dynamics that Cvaria posted, they look pretty sweet.
