Sorry guys, been off and on working on this, it definately WILL need a R/T/B module, if you try to tie the turn and brake wire to one filament on each side it just gives you 4 ways but if you only tie in one side it WILL blink but really fast, as soon as you tie in that other side it just gives you 4 ways, kinda hard to get my head wrapped around that one! I've had nothing but problems with the modules in the past but it looks like its the only option.
I kinda figured you might run into something like that but I was cheering you on.
...lighting circuits can be a **** with all the feedback loop possibilities and circuit loading demands of filament bulbs.
According to Custom Dynamics, I have one of their first gen modules and it keeps on keeping on. I put a Kuryakyn module with CD's LED lights in my son's LR and it works great also but it flashes faster and isn't as bright.
Let us know how this ends.

Look at your main harness connection under the seat and see if it is setup like the main harness in the pic. You might be missing pin 4 and pin 5 because the FXD didn't use them, they are both ground wires. If the connection is built the same, then from what I can gather you are attempting to configure your lights like seen in the top diagram and why your lights are acting the way they are. If you add the module I posted earlier, you should be good to go. Verify that the wires are all going to the correct location, if you need to move pins around, do it on the light connector side, leaving the main harness and the module set at their stock positions. You might also need to splice the ground to the achieve the connections they need to go to. Hope this help with either all the info you need or at least get you pointed in a direction of obtaining the goal.
