Default Forward controls for short riders

Hi, I recently switched from a Xl1200C to a Street Bob but feel kind of goofy with the mid pegs and would like to go with some forward mount controls. Will my 5'4" 30"inseam Umpa-Lumpa body be able to reach? I would hate to drop $325.00 to find out I cant. Thanks, Jeff.

I'm not sure if they will feel good for you, but go to a dealer and sit on a wide glide. That should give you and idea. Try to test ride one if you really want to make sure.

I am 5' 7" and I had to put wider pegs to reach the pegs better on my forward controls. They make a shorter seat that will lower you 1 inch to better reach them. I would go to the dealer and sit on one with them to see how it feels to you. the wide kept trying to blow my feet off until I got the wider pegs.

I'm 5' 9" and have room to spare with the forwards on my bob. oh by the way, as a heads up if you order the forwards from www.chicagoharleydavidson.com they are way cheaper at $259.96 and shipping is super cheap plus no sales tax when ordering online.

i am 5'7" i waas the same way. i went to a dealer ship and tried one out. i personally did not like them too much. so the best advice i could give is to just go try it before you spend the big money for something you might not like

Try adding the highway pegs and shift with your heel, thats what I did and kept the mids for different riding positions on long rides. Worked pretty good for me, andi'm a couple inches shorter than you.
