At what speed do you feel that the steering has a bad feeling - or less rigid?
I haven't done a damn thing to the front end of my low rider and it feels as "rigid" and stable as any other bike I have ridden (well, except for my old Sportster) around the roads and corners I typically ride. I'll admit to rarely pushing beyond 85 MPH - mainly because I don't have a windshield and the feeling of my head being flopped around in the wind at that speed is not pleasant. :^)
Hi Kontiki!
I JUST confirm what i wrote before. What can I add except , i know it's not essential on a HD. Just better sensation with handling, not only at high speed but of course, specially at very high speed on highway, it will prevent bar shake, and prevent sway when the macadam is damaged with rails...Just my opinion, I know it's expensive and not essential.
The GPR style should be less intrusive. Might wanna look at bearings, motor mounts & swingarm mounts if you want to address "headshake" at very high speeds, or buy a boosa...
