Does anyone have instructions on how to remove the rear turn signals?? I want to do this myself but I don't want to start wrenching on my new pride and joy without some sort of how-to knowledge. This is my first Harley and I am not use to working with a dual shock setup. Any help or insight would be appreciated.
p.s. Yes, I already did a search on this forum, but kinda came up empty.
RE: Turn signal relocation Instructions on Street bob
I bought the reocation kit from HD - the instructions that came with it were simple and easy to follow. I'm not a huge wrench-spinner but I got it done in about an hour with just a minimal amount of cussing.

RE: Turn signal relocation Instructions on Street bob
i did this recently. once you clip the wiring, you can pull them off. i didn't have a lift either, so i took my dremmel and cut off the bolts which are about 3-4 inches long. when you take the licence plate off, there's an extra hole underneath that the wiring will squeeze through. you feed it thru there, attach the sigs to bar in the reloc kit and it mounts to a new licence bracket that comes with the kit. resolder the wiring and mount. it's alittle tricky feeding wires and involves some foul language, so keep the kids out (or send them on a beer run at that time). but if i can do it, it's not to hard. i also have a permanent scar from a run-in with the soldering iron. but hey, chicks dig scars.
