The J&S does fit the Dyna frame nicely; with the Dyna having basically only one way to position the J&S about the only concern I'd have is if I were to be stripping down the rolling chassis to the frame and the engine/transmission/primary in the frame. As you pull the weight from the bike I'd suspect she'd get nose heavy on the lift due to the front lift arm being directly between the cylinders. If I start stripping her down that far, there will be some straps on her then

Have had mine for several years and works as advertised. Only pain is making sure it is positioned just right or you can "jack things up" if it is not correct. Causes me to crawl around on the floor a few times to ensure it is in the right place. How far do the bars stick out on the primary side when you guys use yours? I'm always afraid of contacting the primary cover and lifting that (not a good thing) rather than the frame.

Good point..
Have one myself and agree with the positioning of the jack.
Takes a bit but after that, steady as she goes.

On a Dyna when you've positioned the J&S so the rear lift arm is behind the frame protector and pan you'll have plenty of clearance between the lift arms and the primary; I don't see how the primary and lift arm could contact each other...
