I installed the progressive 444's on my LR, 12.5" while not like a thousand dollar set, a great improvement over stock, went 1/2 longer than stock, no more muffler scraping.

Ok so the stock Low Rider shock is 12"? I've been trying to confirm this since I am thinking about this upgrade but not looking to change height. Just ride quality. Thought about these and the progressive fork cartridge kit.

Correct. I put the 12.5" 444s on the back last summer and they ride great. Looking at doing the monotubes this spring. I've heard the combination improves things greatly.

I have progressive 970s on the rear. I have the ricor intimidators and traxxion straight rate springs on the front. The ricor/traxxion is the way to go up front and not too spendy.

I have never bottomed out. Just a hard ride.

Did you lower the front?
