Ok so the stock Low Rider shock is 12"? I've been trying to confirm this since I am thinking about this upgrade but not looking to change height. Just ride quality. Thought about these and the progressive fork cartridge kit.

Correct. I put the 12.5" 444s on the back last summer and they ride great. Looking at doing the monotubes this spring. I've heard the combination improves things greatly.
I have progressive 970s on the rear. I have the ricor intimidators and traxxion straight rate springs on the front. The ricor/traxxion is the way to go up front and not too spendy.
11" on the rear ends up being a bit stiff no matter the spring rate due to the limitation of travel once compressed with weight. That and you end up having to lower the front as well to maintain your rake and replacing the kickstand. I've used them and not only is it stiff but you bottom out easily and you lose lean for corners. Maybe look in to monotubes for the front.
