I purchased a used Corbin seat for my 09 Dyna (solo and pillion). It was missing the front bracket and other latch pins. The seat is a HD FXD-6-S. I called Corbin to buy the parts (I have purchased many new seats from them) but they said since I do not have the original invoice that they cannot sell me parts.
Do they think I stole the parts?
Anyway, any suggestions on how I can get the needed parts?
I have 2 bikes. Electraglide and a wideglide both have Corbin seats. Even tho the bikes are very different the mounting hardware for the seats look the same. Maybe you can look for the parts. Also they are just steel brackets. You prolly could make them from a picture. Hope this helps you .
I believe I may have the bracket you need. Good chance you may have to supply the bolts.
I'll check it out tonight after work and send you a PM tomorrow if I have it.
I had purchased mine used and started running into the same situation. After bombing out from my call to the CA facility, I then tried calling the FL facility and got lucky. I think much is dependent on who you actually talk to.
I tried loading this picture in a private message to you, but couldn't do it. So here it is.
I bought a used Corbin, HD-FXD-6-S and these came with it. I don't need them because I already had a Corbin on the bike.
Unfortunately, I don't have the pin for the pillion. Only one for the solo seat.
Check your PM. If you want these, let me know.
