Cooling a WG
Attachment 503825
Oil filter relo kits are typically a few hundred bucks..., please post the source..., as I'm sure several would be interested if they could be bought for under $50 bucks
Appreciate your participation
Ghost
Yeah..., I was
Aside
I don't mind disagreeing comments..., hell..., I don't even mind being called a stupid M' Fer for the way I'm approaching this
But if you do..., least have your **** together..., and be able to back up your mouth
And/ or.., be prepared to offer up a better thought / idea / approach
Just spouting **** - serves no one..., nor any purpose
Ghost
It was. It just took a slight left turn at the moment. Keep up the good work guys!
You could have even compared this system..., to other(s) systems of your choosing
And this response I quoted..., is the best you can do

And it'll continue - once them last four connections get in (one on back order)
In the meantime - we've identified a cheaper alternative to the expensive oil filter relo kit
I'm open to sharing / discussing whatever is out there - that might offer a less expensive (albeit has to be viable) alternative
***** expensive as it is

Let's go on another little "fact finding" (fishing ) trip
You've said that a couple of times now - let's just see

==============================
As you say - however
And TC - no need to join this little soiree - that is unless you wish to Sir

I want to do some more testing this summer to get a better idea; I didn't have enough hot weather last year after the relocation went on; I'd like to get out on a 90°+ day and really see what it can do. My primary reason for going to the relocation was no more mess removing my PCS4C permanent oil filter for cleaning but relocating it out on the downtube appears to have added a bit more cooling, and that's bonus...
Allow me to introduce you to TC
TC is one of the most diligent and thorough - when it comes to maintenance / upgrades / doing **** - on here
He post something in the form of results - it golden
You both hail from MI (iow results "should" be similar..., as environmental conditions not a factor)
He's seeing 19 degrees cooing as a max
Where as..., you're seeing 20 - 30 degrees cooling
10 to 15%...., equating to 20 to 30 degrees of cooling - means your motor started off running 200 degrees
Pretty cool for a twinkie to begin with -> 250 +/- is about nominal for modern day twinkie motor
So now your bike running in the 170 to 180 range
==========
Not a pissing match..., nor am I labeling you less that truthful
Simply a quest for facts - of how such a discrepancy in results could exist
Feel free to respond..., or ignore
And should you wish to go on a little fact finding mission of your own..., to see if the **** I post is tight - knock yourself out
