Throttle by wire removal ?

I have a 2016 FXDL-S and would like to change the bars but as many of you know it comes as standard with Throttle by wire which limits the choice of after market bars which all seen very expensive and very hard to get over here in the UK 
Has anyone removed the Throttle by wire set up and replaced it with the cable set up ?

Way beyond going to cable throttle. Would require, of course, throttle, cable, older throttle body, ECM and a ton of electrical and mechanical engineering. They make a cut in extension.
